How can I effectively control my blood sugar? I am staying away from sweets, trying to eat right and exercising,but i am still in the 200-300 range.

    I understand what you are going through. My Dr just doubled my insulin because I can't stay below 200. I have found sometimes it is not what you are eating but what are not eating.

    I seen a commercial for something called Gluco Down I have not personally tried it.

    I have seen it but truthfully don't know much about it. Have you talked with your Dr about it to make sure it won't clash with your insulin and such

    Right now my fasting is only a little high but it's controlled with insulin. My problem is if I eat I jump high. Was 300 at 2:00 today. I took the right amount of insulin and ate half a cheeseburger around noon.

    Be careful with quick fixes. Diet and exercise with medicine should work.

    I agree with the continuous glucose monitor. It has helped me so much. If your insurance doesn’t cover it make sure to ask your pharmacy about discount cards that can help cause that has definitely made all the difference for me.
