      I have 5 stents, and an extra where I was re-stented. I take plavix (clopidogrel) as my blood thinner and lots of metoprolol and diltiazem......

        @LadyBraewood I have 15 hearts stents and had to repair two so far I’m on plavix and alot of metoprolol but I’m not on diltiazem what is the medicine for thank you

          @Collarbone Since this post I had another heart attack and have another stent. Diltiazem is a calcium channel blocker, it caused a lot of swelling and worsened my heart rhythm, so I stopped taking it. It turns out being on metoprolol for 30 years is too long. My recent hospital stay we changed beta blockers, and now I'm on coreg instead. There is improvement so far. We also changed my blood thinner to brilinta since I had been on plavix for 8 years, and was still having clot issues. Sounds like you and I have a lot in common!

      I am currently taking Entresto for my condition, I don't feel anything but I keep taking them as I was told by my doctor

      I had a SCAD heart attack in April of 2019. I’m on Metoprolol and children’s aspirin. My artery tore so they clotted it. They didn’t put any stents in because they said I would be considered full metal jacket.
