I have IST and was on metoprolol for over a year. I had to stop taking it though cause I kept almost passing out while doing even the smallest things. Fortunately I haven’t had any problems, besides the occasional tachycardia episode and/or sudden drop in my blood pressure

I took metoprolol and it did nothing. Turned out to be more than just tachycardia and started propranolol instead (which has been so scary for my asthma 😅) which has helped tremendously. I'll never be able to stop the meds, but I don't have a problem with that, though I know some people do take issue with being on meds for the rest of their life

Hey! Not sure what you meant by grouped into this diagnosis but I was diagnosed with inappropriate sinus tachycardia and was on metoprolol for a few years too but I weaned myself off of it and started making other life changes.
