It sounds like you might be having panic attacks. They can come very suddenly and feel like a heart attack or some other serious medical issue, but it's just your body in flight or fight mode, not knowing how to react to a trigger. I'm here for you 🤗
I have actual heart problems with abnormal ecgs and blood results and they aren’t rushing for me to see a cardiologist 😅they test if you’re dying right then and there from a heart attack or else it’s a slow process of waiting to have appointments if they even agree to them, it really doesn’t sound like you need to worry about your physical health but you could get some blood work done just in case if you want to, but yes seek therapy if you can I see you already have anxiety listed so it makes a lot of sense

I have pretty severe generalized anxiety disorder and I also have this I also get bad heart palpitations and chest pains and just really weird sensations in my chest. I've also been checked out multiple times at the ER. I would say if your ekg is alright and bloodwork looks good you probably don't need to worry. If you still are feeling these things and they aren't going away maybe try to make an appointment with a cardiologist just to be double sure everything is OK. I'm actually in the process of this myself. I hope you feel better soon!
Yeah sounds like it’s just panic attacks, if they’re waking you up it could be you’re having nightmares or your cortisol levels are too high, if you’ve taken steroids or anything recently that can mess with cortisol levels so worth getting a blood test for that with ur doctor, don’t go to emergency room though as they won’t be able to do anything and is just a waste of time, and you should seek counselling if you’re not in therapy try and solve whatever’s going on mentally

@catlover55 it’s frustrating because I woke up having it I don’t know I’ve had panic attacks before but this feels so final and then it goes away in a couple mins out of no where I went to the hospital and was good after that

@AnxiousAl I know the feeling. It seems like everything is just over, like you're dying or never going to get better, but then it goes away. I've had lots of different kinds of panic attacks and anxiety attacks, from mild to severe, so I understand what you're feeling.
