Hello, im a teenager fresh out of high school and diagnosed for 5 years and have been using an omnipod for 3 years, up until a few months ago, I have been having to change the back ground insulin ridiculous proprtions (i.e. it will be set at 1.10/h then i eat a meal with my family and i have to change it to .70/h) the changes are bipolar as f*** and my blood sugar has been awful, this is especially bad because i want to be a pilot and the FAA expects nothing short of perfection. Im going crazy tryi g to maintain it plz help any feed back is appreciated

        @Feefie yes but every doctor ive been to either has no idea whats going on or just doesnt listen

          @Dylan12 well thats not good that they dont listen and dont know whats going on..! What is your lifestyle like? Eating habits, hobbies, etc

      Sounds like a lot of stress you are dealing with. Be patient with yourself. I have no advice on omnipods. I've always and still inject myself with needles. I have experience in unpredictable sugars, though. Try to be patient and take one step at a time. Adjustments suck. Sorry I have nothing else to say. I hope you find your answers and resolve your issues. I'm sure you will with the ambitions you have set.
