my mom wants me to fold laundry, but I don't even have the energy to do that. How do people deal with the day to day? I thought about punching my bedroom wall last night.

People will treat you as if you can do the things they can. Things still have to get done though so I pick and choose what chores I do based on what I CAN do. I can't stay standing in one place for too long, so instead I will clean the counters. I can't use the oven so I will make the salad. Just don't punch the wall. Hand surgery is not a fun process.
Can you just hang them up? I find that much easier.
@JuliusSeizure no space, my sister has plenty but the rest of us don't

Some people find it helpful to listen to music or watch a show while folding laundry, making the task more enjoyable. Others may modify their routine, such as sorting clothes into drawers without folding them. It's important to find a method that works for you and consider seeking support if you're struggling with motivation or energy levels.
