Struggling to Communicate with Alters

I'm not really sure how we do it, but we usually have two or three of us able to communicate really well, almost like a little friend group. We're polyfragmented so communication with everyone is impossible but as long as the 3 or 4 main alters can communicate that's all we really care about.

It started out as note writing, and slowly evolved into most of us being comfortable enough to both verbally speak and leave messages on our phone for whoever needs them or will be fronting. It took years to get to that point, but the key is to go slow, steady and be ready for alters to be reluctant or unable to talk at times.

for me— it is still hard for me, but I realized if they are co-fronting with me and texting, we can type the conversation back and forth (if we are both in the mood that is) hope this helps!! you are not alone
