Does anyone get disorientation or disassociation with the world in shorts term segments? It feels like a state of half awakeness, I’m nice the verge of falling asleep and then I jolt back awake. It lasts seconds to hours.

Yes!! I've never heard anyone else talk about this, but it's been happening to me when I'm bored/tired ever since early high school!

There are actually a lot of people who agree with you! There's a fb group called narcoleptics and other higher beings lmao it's not as top tier as I had hoped but still pretty cool to see people who share similar beliefs.

i kind of like it. i like to imagine that it happens when barriers between our reality and others wear thin and im drifting in between them

It's called hypnagognia. It's the state that causes hallucinations in narcoleptics as well. It fcks up my life on the daily 😭😂

Yeah it’s the worst feeling. Like I’m outside my body or not myself. Happens sometimes during sleep paralysis as well.

Definitely- lots of brain fog too which can be really frustrating and scary but it’s easier sometimes more than others

@IcecreamMoon yeah brain fog is definitely it and sometimes I see dream flashes as I stand there, or attempt to do things. I dropped my yogurt because I thought I was holding a camera lens and setting it on a table, I realized after it fell on the carpet.
