Feeling like I'm stuck in a dream

@sprite, I have the same issue. Ive been noticing it worse for me for almost a year…idk how to fix it..

yes i deal with it everyday too some days it’s really bad and sets and gf panic or anxiety attacks. it can be attributed to dissociation or delusions or derealization. what really helps me (it doesn’t pull me out but it keeps me from panicking) holding ice or dunking face or arms in ice water

I’m sorry to hear that it’s so hard to deal with :( Is it normal to have them from the minute you wake up till when you go to bed? It isn’t episodes for me it’s like a permanent feeling everyday that my reality just switched. @sprite

feeling like everything is fake and getting those out of body feelings are actually very much dissociative symptoms. when i dissociate, i feel like i’m in a movie and i have no control over myself or anything around me. even if i’m in a familiar place, it feels like i’m on a movie set designed to look like it. it happens a lot when i’m driving and causes a lot of paranoid thoughts about car accidents.
