Dealing with a Painful Gout Flare: Need Advice

I am having a really bad gout flare. I went to urgent care and started pregnasone on Wednesday. They said come back over the weekend if it still hurts so we can check for stress fractures and infection. The swelling is down by half but I still can't walk. should I go back tomorrow? also advice for icing when it is the side of the foot in pain would be great

My Dr prescribed an Anti-inflammatory for my gout but no other instructions on what to eat or not to eat. Any suggestion on what to eat?

Natural remedies for gout attacks?

Trying to find a natural way to stop gout attacks. They are much less severe but I get them at least once a month. I try to be good about drinking lemon water, baking soda water and apple cider vinegar. Wanted to know if anyone found something better or in addition to those drinks to use also.
