I had an mri done and I saw a copy of the report. From what I read everything seemed fine but I find it weird that my doctor hasn’t contacted me yet to let me know. I know she received the report and the images so I’m not sure why she hasn’t notified me. Is it possible that she sees something that they probably messed? It’s been weeks since the results came back..

The place that performed your MRI, must give you a Disc Copy of the actual MRI and a Written Report of the Radiologist Reading/ Interpretation/ Diagnosis of that Test. I like to keep my own file ofedical Test findings. Just for a history of changes over time and in case of some natural disaster, or Emergency.

@CatFather yes I gave a disc for myself but they also sent the images to my neurologist as well.
By it being my neurologist I was suppose to get contacted so that I know which specialist she is referring me to or to just remain with my rheumatologist. That’s why I’m worried about that but I know for my primary care I never get a call if things are good.. lol
I never get a call if my results are fine.
idk if this is usual for your doctor but i usually don’t get contacted about results unless they’re bad. it makes me so anxious but it’s what they do in my experience
