@LibbieLou I have found support groups to be essential to my recovery - being able to talk to other people who are going through the same thing or hearing other people's experiences and relating to them. Due to COVID, there has been a proliferation of online groups, so it's really easy to try it out and see what you think.

I don't abuse Vyvanse, but I am in recovery from alcoholism. That feeling of people liking who you are when medicated is such a slippery slope. My journey to recovery has largely been about learning to accept myself as I am and finding alternative ways to deal with situations (especially social). Admitting that you have a problem is a really brave first step. Do you see a counselor/therapist? They might be able to point you in the right direction as far as what level of help you need.
