One of the my hardest challenges with “getting ready to quit” has included speaking with other people who have already walked down the path I wish to be on and stay on for as long as I can so that includes opening up and having rough, honest conversations with people when I reach out to the safe contacts in my phone - sometimes I don’t feel comfortable sharing with people that I personally know/love so I will speak to people at meetings online or in person with mask, as well as start talk therapy with a social worker/counselor/psychologist. I also like reading literature about how other people have stayed sober. Whatever you do, don’t give up!!!!
