Treating Eating Disorders with Gastrointestinal Problems

That is honestly so difficult ❤️ I wish I had a better answer, but I’m currently on a waiting list to be hospitalized in an ED ward when a room opens up. They said it’s the best place I can get help with IV nutrition somehow and how much weight I’ve lost with my GI issues. They kinda don’t don’t know exactly where to send me so I’m just trying really hard to be hopeful about it.. I know that’s not an easy/super helpful answer though. I’ve gone really back and forth being so scared to go to the hospital due to medical trauma 🤷‍♀️ but at this point I have to. I was actually supposed to get a feeding surgical tube for my GI problems but I lost too much weight and am not “nutritionally optimal” to make it through surgery now. Definitely if it’s anything similar to that, don’t wait.
