Trans Dating Struggles: Anyone Else?

I definitely relate~ I’m a trans man but I enjoy things like wearing crop tops and painting my nails, however I haven’t begun HRT yet so everyone still sees me as female unless I correct them. And even then I struggle against intrusive thoughts regarding whether or not they still see me as a girl and just call me by the right pronouns to be polite. This feeling causes me to distance myself from genuinely good people who could be potential partners. And dating apps make me too anxious, so I can’t use those and I feel like I can’t meet anyone in person cause I appear to feminine 🙃

Completely! I've found that dates and friends alike just see me as a girl, and it's very upsetting. I basically identify as a trans boy that enjoys being feminine, so you can see where problems arise. I've heard there's apps for LGBTQ dating, maybe look into those?
