had a small procedure today to take out a endometrial polyp, and while all the nurses/doctors were fantastic, (listened to me, didn't sugarcoat/lie about things, etc), my throat feels like absolute crap. I've gone under before and never had my throat feel like this after. any of you guys know what might've happened?? do I need to be concerned?

When they intubate you, the laryngoscope might've hit your trachea or even the tube. Our throats are very sensitive, so much so that the smallest touch can cause pain. No need to worry! It'll go away on its own, just make sure to drink a lot of fluids. If it hurts too much, see your doctor.
