Sore throat and lump sensation

for the past few days I have a feeling like there's a lump not rlly in the back of my throat but almost at the top behind the dangly thing in ur throat I forgot the name of it and it is very sore, hurt to swallow and talk and feels like there's something stuck there I've never had this feeling before

I had that exact feeling once as a teenager and never again! My mom said my uvula looked perfectly fine and my throat wasnt even that red and sent me to class anyways, it lasted about 4 days and then disappeared and I've never experienced it or had any kind of medical fallout from the experience. It was super uncomfortable but I can't tell you what it was.

Could be from GERD or a hiatal hernia. I have both and get that feeling a lot.
