Seeking Tips for Painful Testosterone Injection Experience

I just did my 2nd testosterone injection, my first one at home and was curious on tips to avoid that painful stinging feeling it happens towards the end of the shot and then for like awhile after the shot

I had to start using smaller and shorter needles. I do subQ and use 27g 1/2in which does make it harder to Inject but reduces pain greatly in my case

right now my injection needle is 25G 5/8” its pretty smaller, it doesnt hurt much when it goes in the stinging hurts the worst right before and then after it comes out and it stings for like 5+ mins and then is sensitive for a day or so but i feel like its not supposed to sting that bad

Subq or intramuscular? Sometimes for subq if you rub the spot firmly to diversify the spread of the T it can help. Ive heard that that is much less effective w intramuscular so if its hurting you it might be better to switch injection types. And lastly maybe test to make sure you're not allergic to cottonseed oil or whatever oil is in your meds, it's what T is suspended in to make it an injectable medication and mild allergies can cause burning and tingling reactions.

theyre subq injections, and ive heard about rubbing the area to diversify it before but after my injection that area stings especially if i touch it Im not sure how to know if im allergic to the cypionate or if it just is supposed to sting
