Depression and anxiety after taking Synthroid

Has anyone started experiencing depression or extreme anxiety after taking Synthroid? Lately my mind is constantly stuck on these horrible thoughts about my life. I don't know if it's depression, anxiety or what but it's not normal.

      How long have you been on synthroid? I experienced depression and anxiety when my thyroid hormone was low. Synthroid takes awhile to regulate. Maybe once your dose is regulated, you won’t feel this way. I’ve always had spells of depression and anxiety, so the hypothyroidism made it worse. I take cymbalta to help with the depression and anxiety and I notice that my synthroid dose being optimal helps too. Hope you find your answer. 💜

      I've been on Synthroid for nearly 2 months. Before that, I was on Levothyroxine for about 6 months. I didn't notice these mental problems until a couple weeks ago and it was very sudden.

        @Tuner I know when my thyroid levels get out of whack my depression gets worse.

        @Tuner you know synthriod is the brand name levothyroxine. It's the same drug
