I was diagnosed a couple months ago. have currently lost about 35 lbs and I continue to lose weight no matter what I do. my eating habits have changed alot due to pain when I eat certain things. I don't want to lose too much weight. how can I make sure this doesn't happen?

Ok I got this one. Don't tell me. I have had to buy these complete nutrition shakes made by Abbott they make baby formula, the are called Kate's Farm, they are loaded with vitamin, minerals and everything you need for a perfectly balanced meal. They have super foods in them, you can buy them on Amazon. They run about $39 a box, there are 12, chocolate and vanilla flavored. Ensure makes a juice drink that is also a complete nutrition drink. Those are a little cheaper. But the Kate's Farm shakes are what the hospital nutritionist gave me while I was in the hospital for a week when I was first diagnosed. I hope this helps.

I Have Had This Disease For Four Years Now. Have Had Ten day Intervals of Remission. And Then Without Cause or Warning …An Episode. My Diet is Heavy on Puréed Soup. Fennel..Carrot Ginger .. Potato Leak. …And Miso Always Works. I Also am Able To Eat Udon noodles with Asian Vegetables…Alway cooked well…Juice diluted with Water. Rice Pudding..Jello …Applesauce…and Sorbet are Good Options. No Meat…Dairy Is Tricky. SMALL PORTIONS

The nutritional shakes are the best option. Now my GI gave me a great suggestion. Don’t drink the whole thing at one time. Divide it up through the day. ( most keep 24 hours after opening)

@elo2002 I've tried the shakes though it becomes so costly

I am in the same boat. I recently got diagnosed, about a month ago. I’ve lost almost 30lbs and I keep losing about 2lbs. I am scheduled to see a dietitian to try to help me figure out everything cause I’m still figuring out what I can and cannot eat because of hurting my stomach, but my appointment isn’t until middle of July.

@StephWalker I lose anywhere from 2 -5 lbs a week. I have talked with the doc about what I can and can't eat but it doesn't seem to matter. I also recently had oral surgery and they put me to sleep. The medicine they give you to put you to sleep made my stomach worse for a few days. I'm still dealing with the after effects of it

@Happymom personally for me the Breakfast Essential shakes are my best friend when I can’t handle solid foods. It has all the vitamins and protein in it. They also have a high protein option available
