Struggling with Separation: Lost Without My Soul Mate

I'm in the same situation, my wife has just moved out, leaving myself and 2 kids for a man she's met at work. It broke my heart. I've spent the last 2 months, breaking down everything I need to be happy, writing down what's been missing from our relationship, what I need. I've also made time for me, I've got back in the gym, I cycle a lot, I've even away on my own and reconnected with friends. I now feel so much better, I tried everything to change her mind, now I recognise that I've been unhappy for so long, it's now time to focus on myself and what makes me happy.

I know it feels like your entire world is crashing down right now. My wife also left me completely unexpectedly. I felt like she was my soulmate, too. But i met somebody who is really a better partner for me than my wife ever was. We're engaged and hoping to get married after my divorce is finalized. Things will get better ❤️
