TW So, ive experienced my depression (and other stuff) for a while, but only recently got diagnosed. I'm also super stubborn to my diagnosis. I also struggle with addiction, mostly to self h@rm. I've been clean for a while, but the idea always sparks when I have a depressive episode. Does anyone have any way to help with the pulling g of hurting my self?

I struggle with the same thing! I’m 2 months clean but its hard I get it
I’ve been folding up colorful sticky notes, cutting them into little squares, and then filling a jar with the squares. It helps create that visual feeling of the pain you’re in, and gives you something physical to do. Not the best if scissors are triggering/dangerous in the moment, but it helps me a lot <3
I struggle with the same thing! Something that helps me most of the time is painting red lines where I want to self harm, and waiting for it dry. Then I peel or wash the paint off. It usually works pretty well!
