Struggling with Depression and Medications

Hi, I’m new here and I’ve been really struggling with my mental health and beingable to go to school lately, I’ve just been depressed lately and I have been switching medicines every few weeks for my depression but nothing seems to work and I’m tired of it and I just feel broken over all, does anyone have any medications I should try with my doctor? I’m just tired of nothing working and I struggle with PTSD if that helps anyone recommend anything. Thanks for reading and thanks for some feedback if you choose to.

      My senior year of highschool I was genuinely proud of myself if I went more than twice a week. I got on birth control and thyroid hormones and things got infinitely better. Thyroids are jerks.

      Meds work only for so long. Therapy is highly recommended.

      I take citalopram and it helps me a lot, don't know if it helps with PTSD though

      I have PTSD and depression and I take paraxotine. (Paxil). I know it’s sucks finding the right medication for you. And sometimes it takes a really long time. But you’ll find the right one soon ❤️

      i found a trauma center or crisis center and found a great therapy program cor my ptsd. my meds that help are weed, amitriptylin and gabapentin help me

        @jellyforspongebob Thanks so much for the help, and I have a trauma therapist that is amazing so I think I should be fine with the therapy part but I know where to go if something happens. 💕
