Struggling with Communication

I’m starting to question everything that I say. For the past couple of months I feel as though I’m not saying what I’m thinking. It’s almost as if I believe I said it but others say I said something different. I hope this is making sense. For example this morning my husband and I were having a conversation and I told him well I believe I told him that we needed to pick up things from Home Depot. And when he corrected me and said babe we don’t get those from Walmart we get them from Home Depot. I looked at him and said that’s exactly what I said we have to go to Home Depot.. Sorry for the long post but it’s just confusing because I know he wouldn’t lie to me and that’s exactly what he said … he said babe I wouldn’t lie to you You never said the word Home Depot but I guess in my head I’m like I know I said that. Even with my kids there have been times where my kids would ask me for something and I would get upset because I know I said no but they say that I said yes. For example my 12 year old asked for chips and I know I didn’t want them to have chips in that moment so I believe I said no but him and his sister both said mom you said yeah. It’s confusing because I’m starting to question the words that are coming out of my mouth versus the word that I Believe are coming out of my mouth. Sorry for the rant but I’m frustrated and I had to get this off of my chest.
