Struggling with Body Image and Chronic Illness

I feel like I hit these waves of just being sad and not feeling like myself. I hate looking at myself and knowing that summer time is basically here I’m just overwhelmed knowing my body isn’t what I want. I keep being told to be patient but I’m frustrated that my body doesn’t work like normal and my symptoms take over my life at times. I’m in my 20’s but my energy is always on zero. I’m just tired and wish I didn’t have to experience all this. Especially because people just don’t understand what I truly go through.

      I felt this to my core. I'm in my 20s but definitely don't feel like I'm in my prime. I can't control my weight, my symptoms control my life. I have no energy, always depressed. It's so unfair and I feel like giving up most days. 😞

      When was the last time you had your vitamin d levels checked? If it's been a while definitely consider this because it's been a game changer for me I take 10,000 IU's and it helps greatly especially with us being indoors due to symptoms sometimes it's a definite must.

        @EmilyAnn I was checked in February but currently take the same amount 10,000 IU’s.

      PCOs can cause hormone fluctuations that make us very emotional, sad, depressed. Please don't worry about how you look, I know it's hard but as long as your healthy and taking care of you .. the weight does not matter.
