Hi, I’m 22, I live in California, and I’m a writer who hopes to be successful enough to one day have a platform big enough to make a difference in the world, but my bipolar and anxiety are constantly getting in my way of staying on track and staying committed to any kind of life plan I make for myself

Aww thank you. I’ve been really happy with how my bipolar meds have been helping, but I’ve really struggled to find a new therapist due to higher demand during covid but also I have shitty insurance. I’ve been considering writing a short film about bipolar or making a short documentary since it’s less common compared to docs and films about anxiety.

I have those too and they tend to get in the way of everything. Therapy and meds help, good friends. I would say use your struggles to your advantage. You have real stories to tell. You can make movies but are accurately portrayed. Start on YouTube! I would watch. I believe in you
