Being a Step Parent Really Sucks Today

Well when I proposed to her mom she ran out of the room crying because it would mean she had to move from the only home she had ever known for starters. I refused to shower her with gifts for second. It came from being raised most of her life living with Papa and Meme because Meme said that she didn't want to hear her cry so she should have whatever she wanted.

I know that feeling I have 3 step kids 2 girls and one boy 30 27 23. I been a stepmom for 15 years . The girls have hated me until they where in there 20’s now we are best friends. Now the son on the other hand is mean you have to walk on eggshells around him. He was 25 when moved out he doesn’t call or stop by if he does he fights with his dad and me. I will stop here I could right a book.

Can you explain why? If not no worries.

Well for me it sucks every day. Since my stepdaughter who doesn't know her real dad hates me.
