Starting Aripiprazole Tomorrow, Any Advice?

Ok so I haven't started taking aripiprazole yet. My first dose is in the morning but obviously with new medications I'm nervous. Anyone else take this and how did you feel on it? Just curious to hear your stories. They may help ease my anxiety on it.

I started taking it a couple of months ago. It’s made a huge difference in my life in helping me to be calm. The only downside to it is that it makes me sleepy when I take it so I take it at night.

At first I had a lot of side effects, headaches and mild euphoria. And after about a week or two they subsided. Overall it’s helped me with irrational thinking and going down mental spirals, and helps some with emotional regulation.
