Has anyone else noticed their Sertraline pills starting to smell sweet? I've taken sertraline off and on for 9 years and I've never noticed a smell to the pills until the last 2 or 3 refills of my prescription. I've also started to get some nausea with them, which has never happened. I wanted to see if anyone else experienced this.

It sounds like the manufacturers are trying to make it more "pleasant" but the extras just suck.

I've noticed nausea with my medicine. But no smell, but I haven't smelled them tbh because of the nausea I try to take them with a soda or juicešŸ˜„

I'm on 100mgs of it, I get nauseated and irritable from it. I'm honestly starting to taste a bit as well, I'm thinking about asking to change to something else soon.

I've recently been experiencing nausea most days. It seems only have been since my dose has been increased from 100mg to 150mg. I'm not sure if it's just my body reacting to the new dose. I've not noticed a sweet smell.

Do you have any food sensitivity? The actual medicine part of any pill is very small; most of it is a "sugar pill". It puts it in a volume that's easy to handle, among other things. However, the inactive ingredients are not necessarily listed. You would have to find out if this has been changed to reduce cost. A grind of mine had to toss out a whole month of adderall because she has a dairy allergy and they changed the sugar to lactose.

@Atheris no food sensitivity that I know about, even though I'm fairly certain I'm sensitive to something considering how often my stomach is upset. I can definitely tell something has changed, there's never been a smell to the pills until very recently
