Questioning My Diagnosis: Could It Be Autism?

if a psychiatrist said “you might be bi polar, but it could just be your artistic personality” should I go for an autistic diagnosis? 😅 my diagnosis ended up just being severe depression, but even that I don’t feel like is accurate to my situation. I’ve heard a lot that ppl get misdiagnosed for that a lot when they’re actually autistic and have burnout. And that’s exactly what I feel like I have. I’m depressed BECAUSE I’m so overwhelmed with the reality of no longer being in college and not having structure. I no longer have the driver or will to do things I KNOW I love and WANT to do. And that’s why I get distracted with myself. I’ve been wondering if I have it for a little bit now and I know ppl say a self diagnosis is valid but it’s kinda makes me super uncomfy to do that?? So I’ve been wanting to go get a diagnosis but also I wanna still KNOW if what im expirencing is actually accurate to autism rather than something else.
