After socializing, does anyone else sit and think about everything dumb they said/did and how everybody hates them?

Yes, and normally I try to remember what I said because of brain fog

I had so much trouble with this for years. With time I have realized that a lot of that perceived judgement and hate was coming from myself. I used to straight up ask people if they hated me, which only made it worse because they thought that it was a weird thing to ask. People never give anything as much thought as you do about yourself, and it definitely gets better with time. Something that can be really helpful is listing the facts. Did anyone say or do anything that indicated they were upset with you? If not then there is no reason to think that. At the end of the day we can never know what other people are thinking, and keeping that mindset helps a lot. Our brain unfortunately works against us.

Yeah. So much yes. Directly after, years after, decades after. I still replay conversations in my head from elementary school. I'm 22.

Absolutely, my brain loops over the conversation months later even.

I do it all the time, even if it's something I said years ago

Yes. It’s so hard. I come home exhausted and stressed.
