OCD has ruined my life. I fall in these patterns with my obsessions and compulsions that affect my relationship so much. I get so obsessed with the idea that shes going to abandon me/i am doing something wrong/i am hurting her that i constantly apologize, seek reassurance, or do other things that emotionally drain her and me. Yet she has stayed, and still loves me through it, even though it can hurt sometimes. I don’t understand how someone could do that, if I was on her side of things I would not be able to do that. I am luckily about to start medication, so I am hoping that that will finally help.
