Not Getting Enough Responses on Social App

I saw an ad for this app so I downloaded it a few days ago and have fallen in love with this app but I noticed that I don't really get responses or messages very often. If I do get a response or message, it's maybe only one or two. Does anyone else experience this? I notice other people usually get 3-5 responses or more on their posts so it makes me feel kind of left out. :(

      When you make a post you can choose between more alikes (more ppl your post goes out to) versus fewer with more similar issues. If you haven’t done so it may be that opting for more alikes will get more replies. It could also be that some that read your post don’t know what to say or how to help in a situation to where they don’t want to make you feel worse. If you haven’t already at the end of your posts you could say what you’re looking for in replies- support, not feel alone, validation, or advice… hope y’all feel connected soon and find what y’all are looking for.

        @KitKat1450 thank you so much! I always opt for the more alikes but I admit sometimes my posts are very specific so maybe that's why no one replied because they weren't sure how to help or how to respond to it. I will definitely make sure to clarify what I'm looking for. I appreciate you!

      I feel that so much right now like im waiting for someone to type on one of my posts and I'm like where are these people at hunny they be hiding cause there not by me but yeah I'm just like how yall get responses and I don't

        @clova I feel you! It's starting to make me feel discouraged to use this app if no one wants to respond to me. At this point I feel like I'm talking to a brick wall or myself!

          @poodlelover28 yep like I don't like to talk when I'm with my friend im that friend thats the therapist that just listens and hugs people like I don't talk that much cause then I get to opened up but on here I can cause no one knows me
