Nerve Stimulator Placement: What Was Your Trial Period Like?

I'm not familiar with the gastric and sacral ones. Can you explain? Mine are cervical, C2 and throcic T12 (I think that's the #). DUNN is right ... My SCS have always been a blessing. I was in a wheelchair nearly 3 years then I had the SCS implanted... May 1996.

Also I had minimal pain with the procedure.

I have both a gastric stimulator and sacral stimulator. By your description, I’m assuming you are talking about the sacral test stimulator. I had no issues with it. Of course it was outside my back, but I never had an issue with it being pulled or anything. I was just aware that it was there, and was cautious when putting on pants for example. I hope this helps!
