i’m so scared. i’ve been talking to this guy for a little over a month now and he checks all my boxes and we both see it going somewhere. only problem is i’ve never had a serious bf before and i can feel myself self-sabotaging it before anything has even started. anyone have any tips for me to use so i don’t go crazy and end up forcing myself to stop liking him?

      I do this too. I haven’t figured out how to stop it yet, but I do find I feel less anxiety when I communicate with my potential partner that I do have anxiety. It helps not to put a lot of pressure or expectations.

      The same thing happens to me a lot 🤧 Sometimes what helps me is looking at it from another perspective, not your own. Cause then you start to overthink and find reasons he's gonna hurt you or vice versa among other things. Looking at it from a different perspective sometimes helps put less pressure. Also, a reallyyy hard thing I still struggle with, but also communication is a big thing. Ik you can get through all the little bumps :) Your feelings are valid ofc and they deserve to be heard by him

      Communication is key in keeping healthy relationships, no matter how small you might feel the issue is the best way for them to know how you feel and for you to get clarification or reassurance is by talking it out ☺️
