Overthinking my new relationship

so I started talking to a boy in October and he asked me Saturday to be his girlfriend. I really want to keep it going but I also keep overthinking literally every aspect of our relationship. Any suggestions?

If it's just general nerves and anxiety, talk to him about how you are feeling, communication is important. If the nervous you are feeling is red flags, don't ignore them!!! I ignored so many red flags and that did some lasting damage. Nervousness is normal, but if you feel that there is something *wrong* listen to yourself

Just remember that no relationship is going to be perfect and not to compare it with other relationships you see. That can definitely be hard to do. Always remember to love yourself too if you feel like you’re putting yourself second take the time to think about your own feelings like if you’re feeling neglected, unmotivated, etc definitely communicate those feelings and if the partner shows no interest in the matter that’s the time to reevaluate the relationship.

All you can do is talk to him. Let him know how you're feeling. Communication is key. 🔑

talk to him about how you're feeling! communication is so important & chances are he's at least a little nervous as well. nobody expects you to feel extremely confident about this especially at this stage in the relationship & in your life. take care :)
