My Medical Journey: From Acute Respiratory Failure to Gallbladder Removal

For starters my diagnosis were: Acute respiratory failure w/hypoxia Acute kidney injury Cholangitis (gallbladder attack) Gallstones Pneumonia in both lungs 🫁 due to MRSA Hypertension Septic Shock Thrombocytopenia Ok I went to the ER on 11/12 as my drainage bag stopped working and my gallbladder was hurting badly. On 11/13 they sent me to Prisma Baptism Health System. On the way there, I required oxygen for cardiovascular reasons. When I got there, I had to go to surgery immediately. I had to make a split second decision first agree to surgery, then, to be intubated, (didn’t fully understand what that meant), and then to be rushed. It was so scary. I prayed for myself and laid hands on myself and agreed to surgery. I learned that I went to what was a simple in and out surgery landed me in a coma and on a ventilator because I wasn’t strong enough to breathe on my own. I had pneumonia in both lungs 🫁 and also acute respiratory failure. Jesus!!!!!! Nobody knew where I was. Not even me for that matter. I spent 7 days in IICU. Never knew there was a IICU. This surgery was only for the drainage bag due to the other one stop working. I couldn’t get my gallbladder taken out due to the weakness of my heart and oxygen levels. On 11/21 I had surgery and had my my gallbladder removed!!! I was placed in a coma once again for a day. I fought with them to take my breathing tube out and I found myself like Martin, strapped to the bed and knocked out. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Praise God! I feel better ❤️‍🩹. I was able to pass EVERY test that they gave me within a matter of hours. They said it would take 2 weeks. Don’t tell me what God won’t/will do!! I’m not even worthy but he chose me anyway!!!!!!!!! I’m so blessed!!!
