I personally liked Geodon (ziprasidone). It's good for depression in low doses, good for mania in high doses. Generic and cheap. The problem with it is that you have to eat 500 calories with each dose and it's taken twice daily, so that can be a pain.

I’m on Lithium and it does wonders. Lamotrigine also helped me for a while.
