any one with babies that have type 1 diabetes who can give me tips on how to help me keep up with my shots and testing? even possibly thoughts on how eat better on a low budget

Hi! My name is Brooke and I have been a type 1 diabetic for almost 20 years. I am studying to be a diabetes educator! I would love to give any insight I can. Is your child taking a fast acting and long lasting insulin? Or are they using a pump? Humalog/novolog? Lantus? Also, how much insulin are you giving for every carbohydrate? I take 1 unit for every 15g of carbs. I would take 1 unit of insulin to drop my blood sugar 30 "points". Also, do you have a continuous glucose monitor?
