How do you better manage tic attacks in public?

Usually I'll slowly make my way to a less populated if I can. But I don't leave the house much, and I never go alone

Unfortunately I suck at managing tic attacks, but if they happen in public I do all I can to remember that this isn’t my fault and anyone making me uncomfortable has problems of their own to deal with, otherwise they wouldn’t be so rude! It can be embarrassing, debilitating, and painful. Usually after a public tic attack my energy is drained and I need to go home. Lots of rest and water after an attack helps a lot.
