      I’m doing it right now with my therapist, basically you do things that your ocd tells you not to, often going against compulsions, in front of or with a therapist. It increases slowly and is meant to be uncomfortable but not to cause severe worries. Over time, it becomes easier and your brain stops the vicious cycle of obsessive thought -> compulsion to alleviate the anxiety from the thought -> confirmation that the compulsion is necessary

      ERP ERP ERP!! Seeing a therapist who specializes in OCD bad ERP specifically has changed my life.

      Lexapro and exposure and response prevention therapy. Especially the ERP. It kinda blew my mind how big of a difference that made.
