For me I chose to be in treatment to out way anxiety and depression as well bipolar disorder to help me cope with my illness and to keep me out of The state hospital. And yes I do take a lot of medication for those illnesses I and my team work together to make sure that stuff is going well. Some people in your family may not take it in because of the shame of it ok. Just lasting to your heart say to you and your team.

@Stevie we have to do what works for us no two people are alike so no two treatments are the same I’m not currently on medication at the moment I was in the past but who knows maybe in a year or so I may need it but as for now in this moment I’m ok we just have to take it day by day things can always shift.

Some ways people manage their anxiety and depression include taking medication, therapy, natural remedies, joining social groups, staying busy, yoga, doing fun activities, painting, exploring places, talking to family and friends about it, praying, and meditation. Some individuals are on medication, and they may have tried different medications before finding the one that works best for them. Treatment plans can be chosen based on personal preferences, doctor's recommendations, or a combination of both.
