How to Make New Friends as an Adult?

I struggle with this as well. I hate being so alone and would love to have a friend. But many times my mental health and financial problems get in the way. I know that (in general) I'd have to leave my house and do things to meet people and this feels impossible currently. Sometimes my thoughts torture me, although I think I would make a good friend because I really do car about everyone I meet. 😔

Me too but it’s hard unless you go bar hopping and I’m too old for that. Where do you live if u don’t mind me asking?

There's certain apps that have a friend's only kind of feature. I know bumble has it, and it's by area.

I'm in the same boat, but I even struggle with online connections. Most people just stop replying. Or sometimes I get too anxious about meeting people in real life and end up ghosting them.
