Hey guys I’m feeling really down rn and need some other opinions. So my long distance boyfriend and I have been together for about 3 months, we ft and talk regularly but today I was on instagram and seen that he had a new follower I looked to see who it was and it was a girl that said she is “taken by him” also with a heart emoji, the other suspicious thing is that he just changed his profile pic yesterday and it matches hers. I confronted him about this and he said that he “unknowingly led her on” and is not cheating they were just supposed to be “best friends”. I’m really confused bc just the other day he told me that he wanted to alway be with me and even get married. Please help idk what to do.

Same thing happened to me. Exactly. Except I found out right before our 1 year anniversary. I know it's really hard and you're going to hurt for a very long time but they are gaslighting you. Telling you that he "led her on" while he willingly is matching pictures with her. It wasn't an accident. It wasn't friendly. They will tell you anything to keep you. Block and let yourself heal. The partner I was referencing told me she made him. That she forced him to date her. I would message her on a different account, one not connected to him in any way. Ask her if they're dating, for how long. That's how I found out. It's a pretty easy decision after that.

Hi there, I was in a long distance relationship for two years. I totally get that it can be really tough sometimes. To me it totally seems like he might be involved woth her, and he seems like he's acting like you're dumb, because I personally dont see why someone would ever do those things unless they were cheating. I would confront him and say that you know it's more than what he is leading you on to be. My dms are always open to you:)
