Hello everyone. I suffer with PTSD, anxiety, and depression. I am also living by myself with my dog. I only get to hangout with people if there is a scheduled time to meet them. Hell, I don’t even get to talk to people on a day to day basis. Sundays - church Tuesdays - church small group These two times are literally the only guaranteed social interaction I get. Any other time, I have to beg people to text, call, or hangout in person. Anyone else have trouble with loneliness that makes their mental illness symptoms so much worse? How do you get people to hang out with you and check in on you? Several times in the last 2.5 months, I’ve been too depressed or triggered to even bothering to go to church or small group. I feel like I always have to act like I’m okay or else no one will want me around. It’s so draining not having a support system. Anyway, can any of you just message me and talk to me at least 2 times a week? It is better for me to have a scheduled time to meet at least 1-2 times a week, so that when I’m really feeling down or triggered I don’t have to think and try really hard to reach out to others. I can already know that they’ll be available at a certain time and that’s when I can vent or just talk about random things (TV, movies, pets, work, fun things planned, goals, dreams, etc.) Is anyone willing to help me with this? I am not a conservative Christian, so anyone from any walks of life are welcome to chat with me. We don’t have to talk about faith unless you just want to.
