Introducing Myself: Living with Muscular Dystrophy

Hello to all this Saturday afternoon! I’d like to introduce myself. I was born with Central Core Disease, King Denborough Syndrome and Malignant Hyperthermia (two of which are forms of Muscular Dystrophy). I was born in 1964, so there wasn’t any diagnostic testing available then. It wasn’t until four years ago that I discovered exactly why I was having so many symptoms that made no sense to my doctors. My Dad had always assumed it was some type of muscle disease and never gave up trying to find help for me. I’m so excited to hear from others and to share our experiences with one another.
