Living with Genetic Disorders and PTSD

I was born with the worst of the genetic disorders in my family. Schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and fibromyalgia (it affects my dad and affected grandparents as well). I have the worst cases of all. I picked up a case of PTSD along the way to adulthood. For decades, I put it in the background. I was a parent and a wife, and those jobs took precedence. I was able to lie to myself until I had a major break and a huge seizure. I was in the hospital for days. Now, I am disabled. I can't do the things that used to bring me joy. Instead, my greatest joy is helping others. Please don't pity me. I am just opening up to people with similar experiences for the purpose of dialog.
