I often don’t reach out when I need support because it takes more energy. When some of my friends went through a one time illness, divorces or lost pets, they got very natural support this year, which is hard, because it hasn’t been easy or natural to get support for something ongoing. I have to ask for what I need and set up boundaries constantly.
