Looking for Support with Chronic Illnesses and Loneliness

Im looking for support while beginning to work again with chronic mental and physical illnesses, luckily I have a wonderful fiancè who is amazing and more than I deserve when it comes to support but I dont have a big social circle or support system like he does with all his friends and family, most of my closest friends are across the country so I dont really have the support I need right now so im hoping maybe I'll get some here? just working with handfuls of illnesses is such a struggle and not having a real life support system makes it more tough trying to navigate the real world. Im mostly just looking for support when it comes to working with illnesses that on regular days seem like the end of the world because of the pain im constantly in and sadly my doctors dont seem to care at all. I just moved to a new city not too long ago so the loneliness of that also makes everything feel so much more soul-crushing.

Hey hun. Sorry to hear what you're going through. Sounds like you're in a tough pickle atm. Have you talked to your fiancé about your feelings and what's going on? Also, have you ever researched your condition? I found that understanding my conditions humanized my situation and helped with a lot of anxiety that surrounded it. When it comes to support systems, you NEED to develop one with people who are able to understand to some degree what you're going through. A large portion of people don't understand conditions that are long-term and don't heal over time on their own, so it will freak them out or "check out" of friendships. I've also found that habits are HUGE when it comes to depression/anxiety. Good habits battle the bad thoughts/feelings. I always write a list of things I need to do and if I'm ever sick/mentally off, I do as many as I can. At first I could barely do anything, bit I've gotten to a point where I can push past myself to do the majority of things on days I'm not doing well. Send me a message if you want to chat.

thank you for taking time for respond ❤️ luckily i have been trying my best to be open with my fiancè and he luckily is understanding of my issues, my primary struggles are bpd, ptsd, anxiety, endometriosis, and scoliosis and he understands that is quite the handful to deal with but luckily I've been trying my best to stick to routines and making check lists and such. I used to have such a great support system but as years have passed and the world has began to become something else, it feels like everything, including friendships are just falling apart and my abandonment issues cant vibe with that. I really appreciate your response 💕
