Job Orientation Disaster: Anxiety and Panic Attacks

Hi I know sometimes rationalizing these things can seem condescending but I hope this helps: As a social anxiety disorder sufferer myself, I have to remind myself that a lot of the way people act is a projection of themselves. IE, maybe your manager being cranky and your anxiety are not connected. You were probably doing a great job and hopefully they were just having an off day. The fact you are worried about it implies that you care, which already means you will be a great employee. And of course always listen to yourself, maybe there is a position that is more suited for you if you vocalize your anxiety like meridian suggested. People should go easy on you if you're new, and even if they don't it's not your fault.

Sending you ❤️ Maybe you can talk to the manager about your anxiety. Social anxiety is hard - sometimes it gets better, sometimes you feel worse. I worked in restaurants w/ my social anxiety and I had anxiety attacks here and there which made me dread going to work.
